We chose the Tripp Lite 3 Outlet as our best travel power strip due to its compact size, light weight and portability. It's about half an inch wide and fits into most backpacks or carry-on luggage. The plug prongs are neatly folded away when not in usage. It is sturdy and secure against the wall once plugged in.
The only drawback of this surge protector is that it does not have the same high rating as other surge protecters on our list. It does not offer the same level of equipment protection as some other surge protectors, but it has a higher Joule-rating than the least expensive power strips.
